Michael Darko
Academic Excellence

From Determination to Valedictorian

Michael Darko graduated from GIMPA as Valedictorian, Overall Best Student of the School of Technology, and Overall Best Undergraduate of the 2026 graduating class, with First-Class Honours. Mentorship and structured support during his final semesters helped him balance projects and reach this milestone. He has since been selected as an AIT Ghana Fellow for the 2026/2027 cohort by The Sankofatech Foundation, completing his National Service in a work-integrated fellowship built for technical leadership in an AI-native economy.

“Thrive & Shine played such a huge role in the latter part of my semesters. The experience really gave me the push and time management skills I needed to balance my projects and hit this milestone. I just wanted to reach out, share this with you, and say a massive thank you for being part of this journey.”
